FINALLY!

Ozzie and I have made it to the big city! He is enjoying walks in Central Park while I start my new job at Starbucks. This move should show promise for new artwork. It feels good...real good.

another side note

After many failed attempts, I am finally moving to the Big Apple this fall. Me and Ozzie are taking to the skies on September 1st to start a new. We are both hoping for the best :)

After having promised to do this drawing to Jon's dad back in January, I was finally able to give it to him when I was up there for my birthday :)

This is one piece I was working on while I was away :) R.I.P -Teddy Bender

Italian Festival

ALMOST FORGOT! I was in a small art show earlier this year for Square One.

Holy long time!

I am not even believing how fast time has flown by this year! SO MUCH has happened these past few months. Currently getting ready for a huge move to NYC on Sept 1st. I've been working on new artwork when I can. Did take a small detour and tried something new! Decided to make a pair of ruby slippers for a friends birthday....they turned out beautiful :)

More on the Princess series

These are the next two in the series that I've been working on. Still have more to do with "Under the Sea" (title will probably change..haha). Thought it was cute to have her eating a fried shrimp. Ironic huh?

"Belle of the Ball" is almost done I think...still brainstorming on what more can be done. She is basically wilting like a rose. All feedback is appreciated :)
Working on something I'm very happy with so far :) . Decided to go for the Valentines theme if you will. Hopefully will have enough done in the next few days to post.

Introducing our new President of the United States!!

OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA!

Acrylic on Canvas

It is now at home with my mother as her christmas gift :)

Princess Series

Got a random burst of inspiration with this series that I am currently working on. It started as one thing and then completely evolved into something I'm so happy with. "Fairest of them All" is taking a look at a woman's obsession with Vanity, while "True Love Conquers All" is something I just went with....no real reference to Vanity at all. If you take a look at both pieces, you may notice that there is a heart with a crown somewhere on each. Thats more or less my signature for the series. It is a tattoo that I have on my right wrist representing True Love.
There are 2 other pieces in this series that are not quite finished yet, but I do plan on posting them as soon as I feel they are ready.

Both are done in Acrylic on Canvas

Mixed Media

This was another piece that I had done back in high school. I saw Nicole's hair in class one day and just said, "I need to draw you". I have a thing with hair. My biggest focus on most portraits I do, is the fine detail of the hair.

these are a few people that have had a great impact on my life recently. Black and White is more dramatic and seems to have more emotion. (at least to me) Enjoy!
